What does Time in Status measure?
Time in Status measures how long issues stay in each workflow status for the selected state field.
Does it work with my YouTrack instance?
Time in Status is a YouTrack application distributed through the JetBrains Marketplace. Check the Marketplace listing for the current compatibility details for your YouTrack version.
Is there a free plan?
No. Time in Status currently offers a 14-day free trial and then requires an active paid subscription.
Can I test the app before purchasing?
Yes. You can start the 14-day trial directly from the Time in Status admin page inside YouTrack.
Reporting
Which scopes can I report on?
The reporting view supports:
- project
- query
- saved query
- assignee
- reporter
- agile board and sprint
- tag
Can I save reports?
Yes. You can save:
- private reports for yourself
- shared reports for other users on the same instance
Can everyone edit shared reports?
No. Shared reports have an owner. Other users can open them, but only the owner can overwrite or delete them.
Can I export report results?
Yes.
- Table view supports CSV export
- Chart view supports SVG export
Why is chart mode sometimes slower than table mode?
Chart mode calculates the result for the full scope. Table mode works page by page, so large scopes can make chart mode take longer.
Which columns can I sort by?
The current report flow supports sorting by:
- issue
- summary
- current status
Issue Panel
What is the difference between the issue panel and the reporting view?
The reporting view is for analyzing a whole group of issues. The issue panel is for investigating one issue directly on its issue page.
What does "Deduplicate statuses" mean?
It aggregates repeated visits to the same status into one total per status instead of showing every visit separately.
Why does the issue panel show no tracked status history?
Common reasons:
- the selected field is not the right tracked field for that issue
- the issue does not have usable tracked history for the selected state field
- the issue does not expose a compatible state field to the app
Subscription
Which plan can I buy today?
The current commercial offer is Pro with a fixed base fee and a licensed-user add-on.
How is pricing calculated?
Time in Status uses a base subscription fee and adds a per-user charge based on the licensed user count on your YouTrack instance.
Does Time in Status support offline or air-gapped installations?
Not today. The product currently follows the standard online lifecycle flow. Offline and air-gapped licensing are planned for future availability.
What happens when there is no active subscription?
The main reporting view and the issue panel show a subscription-required state until the installation is reactivated with a trial or subscription.
